Overview:

The Brilliant Lead LLC, a workplace well-being and leadership development consulting firm serving the nonprofit sector, is seeking a part-time Contract Data Analyst to support a national survey, research, and analytics project. This initiative will provide critical insights into nonprofit worker well-being and help inform strategies that advance equity, sustainability, and thriving workplaces.

The Data Analyst will work closely with our team to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and visualization that communicates findings in clear, actionable ways. This is a fully remote, short-term contract role with flexible hours.

Scope of Work:

The consultant will support the survey and research project by:

Data Preparation: Collecting, cleaning, and maintaining survey datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Data Analysis: Conducting statistical analysis and generating insights from survey responses.
Visualization & Reporting: Creating charts, tables, and dashboards that communicate findings for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaboration: Partnering with The Brilliant Lead team to align analytics with project goals and provide actionable recommendations.
Documentation: Developing clear reports and written summaries of key findings for use in client-facing materials.

Deliverables:

Identification of a relevant business intelligence platform
Cleaned and organized survey dataset(s)
Interim data analysis reports (2–3 throughout the project)
Final summary report of findings with tables, charts, and narrative insights
Data visualization outputs for presentations (PowerPoint/slide deck ready)

Budget:

The consultant will be paid a total of $3,200 for all deliverables.
This contract is scoped for up to 20 hours of work per month across the 6-month project (November 2025 – April 2026).

Project Timeline:

November 10–15: Project kickoff, dataset transfer, and alignment on goals
December – February: Ongoing survey data collection and interim reports (monthly/bi-monthly check-ins)
March: Draft of final analysis + visualization package
April 15: Submission of final report and deliverables

Qualifications:

An ideal consultant will possess:

Proven experience in data analysis, survey research, or applied statistics
Strong skills in business intelligence software and data analysis tools
- We welcome applicants who are comfortable with either traditional data science tools (such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or R), or user-friendly, low-code platforms that make SQL and visualization more accessible.
Ability to translate complex findings into clear, people-centered insights
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
Prior experience working with nonprofits or human services organizations (paid or volunteer) is a plus
